Elite K9 Service – Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy

Terms of Service

1. Overview

This website is operated by Gonyon International LLC DBA Elite K9 Service ("Elite K9 Service," "we," "us," or "our"). By using this website or purchasing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, and contributors of content.

2. Eligibility & Behavioral Assumption of Risk

By participating in any service, you affirm you are at least 18 years old or have guardian consent.
You understand that working with dogs, including training, boarding, and socialization, carries inherent risk. Dogs are unpredictable and may behave aggressively. By using our services, you accept these risks.

3. Services & Certification Expectations

Elite K9 Service Certification Guarantee:
Dogs who complete our Board & Train / Advanced Session program and receive certification through Elite K9 Service are backed by our reliability guarantee.
We are proud to partner with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and offer dual certification opportunities.
If a certified dog regresses in reliability, Elite K9 Service will assist at no cost to bring the dog back to certification standard — provided the handler has maintained basic training protocols.

4. Booking, Payment & Refund Policy

Program pricing is locked in at the time of booking.
Refunds are available only within 24 hours of booking. After that time, all payments are final, even if the program has not started.

5. Health & Conduct

Dogs must be current on vaccines, leashed on the property, and under control.
Dogs in heat must wear protective pants.
Aggressive dogs may be removed from class or recommended for private sessions.

6. Media & Testimonial Use

By participating, you grant Elite K9 Service the right to use testimonials, video, or photos of you and your dog for promotional purposes, unless a formal removal request is submitted.

7. Third-Party Tools & Links

We may provide access to third-party platforms. We are not responsible for their services, policies, or performance.

8. User Conduct & Prohibited Use

You may not use our site or services for unlawful activity, harassment, malware transmission, or impersonation.

9. Limitation of Liability

You accept full responsibility for the behavior of your dog and any associated risks. Elite K9 Service is not liable for injuries, damages, or accidents that occur during or after training.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Elite K9 Service harmless from any legal claims resulting from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by Florida law. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in Hillsborough County, Florida.

12. Severability

If any part of these Terms is held invalid, the remainder shall continue in effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our signed waiver, refund policy, and privacy policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Gonyon International LLC DBA Elite K9 Service.

We do not sell your information. Limited data may be shared with payment processors or trainers strictly to fulfill service needs.

All payments are processed via secure, encrypted methods. We take reasonable precautions to protect your information.

Refund Policy

1. Evaluations

Evaluation deposits ($50) are refundable only if canceled within 24 hours of booking. After that, they are non-refundable.

2. Training Programs (Board & Train, Sessions)

Training program payments are refundable only within 24 hours of booking. No refunds are given after that time, even if the program hasn't started.

3. Group Classes

Class fees are refundable within 24 hours of booking. No refunds are issued after that window. Missed classes are not eligible for make-up unless approved in advance.

4. Boarding Services

Boarding add-ons and related services are refundable only if canceled within 24 hours of booking. No refunds are granted after that.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method. Processing time may vary for third-party lenders such as Affirm.

6. Client Accountability

Refunds will not be issued due to lack of follow-through, disengagement, or dissatisfaction caused by handler inconsistency.

7. Disputes

To request a refund exception, email EliteK9ServiceUnit@gmail.com within 3 days of the concern. Exceptions are reviewed but not guaranteed.
