Tips for the “Stay Command”
-Use your Overall Body Language
•Put you have out flat (like in a STOP position✋)
•Take a one step back, then go back and reward to show your dog they get rewarded inside of the “Stay Command”.
-Use the Inflection Of Your Voice
•When going back to reward, calmly say “Good Stay”
•Speak calmly in a relaxing tone
-Slowly build up the distance and time of the “Stay Command”
